Room Parent/Classroom Volunteers
Welcome to the Room Parent/Classroom Volunteer page on our Taylor PTA website.
Mel Colonel is the Room Parent Chair.
Classroom Volunteers play a key role in making this a successful and exciting school year. As a Classroom Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to actively engage with your child's class and teacher.
Classroom Volunteers are involved in:

Collaborating with the full room parent team to coordinate three fun-filled parties for the students

Communicating with class parents regarding upcoming teacher and/or adoptive staff birthdays (we like to encourage the students to create birthday cards)

Advocating for Taylor PTA programs such as Taylor Fun Run, book fair, teacher appreciation, and other fun school activities.

Coordinating efforts for teacher appreciation week.
To be eligible to serve as a Classroom Volunteer for your child's class, you must complete a background check. Click on the link below:
