Classroom Volunteers

Hello! Welcome to the Classroom Volunteer page on our Taylor PTA website. Shannon Gray and Lisa Quintana are the co-chairs for the Room Parent Program.

Classroom Volunteers play a key role in making this a successful and exciting school year.  As a Classroom Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to actively engage with your child's class and teacher.

Classroom Volunteers are involved in:

  • Collaborating with the full room parent team to coordinate three fun-filled parties for the students
  • Communicating with class parents regarding upcoming teacher and/or adoptive staff birthdays (we like to encourage the students to create birthday cards)
  • Advocating for Taylor PTA programs such as Walk-a-thon, the silent auction/dance, book fair and teacher appreciation, and other fun school activities.
  • Coordinating efforts for teacher appreciation week.

To be eligible to serve as a Classroom Volunteer for your child's class, you must be a member of the PTA and you must complete a background check.  Click on link below
