Room Parent/Classroom Volunteers

Welcome to the Room Parent/Classroom Volunteer page on our Taylor PTA website.

Mel Colonel is the Room Parent Chair.

Classroom Volunteers play a key role in making this a successful and exciting school year.  As a Classroom Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to actively engage with your child's class and teacher. 

Classroom Volunteers are involved in:

  • Collaborating with the full room parent team to coordinate three fun-filled parties for the students

  • Communicating with class parents regarding upcoming teacher and/or adoptive staff birthdays (we like to encourage the students to create birthday cards)

  • Advocating for Taylor PTA programs such as Taylor Fun Run, book fair, teacher appreciation, and other fun school activities.

  • Coordinating efforts for teacher appreciation week.

 

 

 

To be eligible to serve as a Classroom Volunteer for your child's class, you must complete a background check.  Click on the link below:
